I'm so sorry to hear about young Mark. I met him while he was a physician at urgent care Center in Dana point. I enjoyed many stories about China since I've been removed from this country for over four generations and learned a lot from him and his wife. I admired him and his adventurous spirit, energy and curiosity of the world and life. I haven't seen him for many years so it's very strange that I will think of him and Google him at this moment. He must be saying adiu.

I called Dr Mark's office today to make an appointment and heard the unbelievable and sad news of his passing. I saw him less than two weeks before and it was obvious he was going through a very difficult time. I shared some of my personal experiences and we laughed and cried along with the wonderful girls in his office. My prayers go out to his family, his staff and especially his two boys who were his pride and joy.

I am shocked and so sad at the news about this very bright young man.
I have been a patient of Mark and Jeannine's for years and care for them both tremendously. I cannot imagine the heartbreak for the boys - they obviously loved their Dad very much.

Dr. Mark, I am heartbroken you such a wonderful man had to leave us so soon. Knowing you for almost 20 years was an honor and privilege. I will always remember your smile and laughter and your kindness. I am so glad that I was able to see you about a month and a half ago. You will always be missed. I was a patient for a couple of years and am shocked that the doctor has passed. I was getting ready to see him again when I read this on line. He was so friendly and he and his wife so down to earth for doctors. I am shocked and so sad that this would happen to such a wonderful family and such a young man. My prayers are with you all. God has is plan and no one can change it. He is with the angels now and he has done a lot for many people and obviously is needed in heaven. Lots of love!

Like so many others, I am shocked, dismayed, and saddened by the news of Dr. Mark's passing. I saw him a few times in the office and he was always so friendly, upbeat, and energetic. I'll never forget the time I came in on Halloween, and he was dressed as (I believe), the Greek god, Hermes. (He rocked that costume!) Dear Dr Jeanine, I'm at such a loss for words. I'm so saddened to hear the news of his passing. He is my favorite boss. He was so generous and kindhearted. I had came to the office after not seeing him for several years, and he was so encouraging and it was as if time hadn't passed..,he was the same understanding person as always. Dr Mark gave me a chance to succeed and feel better about myself. 3 days freshly out of a correctional facility, I went for an interview to work for his practice and he hired me. When Dr Jeanine told him that I was barely out, he barely reacted. I love that so much...for the next year I worked for Dr Mark and Dr Jeanine, learning so much from them. Dr Mark is so funny and the faces he would make would make me bust up laughing. He was generous, outgoing, and very intelligent. I always looked forward to going to work and he never made me feel like an employee but was about teamwork an being a friend when I needed it. I am very saddened to hear about his passing. Dr Mark tried to help everyone, especially when we would go to tijuana to help people. He listened to me when i needed to vent. He was my favorite boss and I will never forget the chance he took on me and how supportive he was in my recovery. I will miss u friend amd thanking for teaching me so much.

I've known Dr Mark for approximately four years. I met him at their company Christmas party. I attended the party with my girlfriend Polly who has known him for over 15 years. When I met Dr Mark, he made me feel as though I'd known him for ever.With a huge smile, he shook my hand and welcomed me to the party. At one point during the party Dr Mark asked Polly to dance. It was incredible. Dr Mark didn't miss an inch of the dance floor, burning up the soles of his and Pollys shoes. I have video of this that I will post soon. Fast forward to the masquerade party. This time I asked Dr Mark to dance with my girlfriend Polly. Again, he didn't disappoint. With sweat flying, shoes burning, and smilies from ear to ear, there they were again. I thought to myself, Dr Mark could be on dancing with the stars. This is how I remember Dr Mark. Now he's dancing in the clouds. God bless you buddy. You were a true gift to all who knew you.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr Koffords passing. I only saw him twice but he was their for me when I had an emergency and he left dinner in Laguna to see me in his office after hours. Dr. Kofford will be truly missed and I agree with the other messages here that he made you feel well even when you felt bad. I called tonight to make an appointment for my wife and found out this terrible news. Prayers to the family and his children.

Dr. Mark fixed my face after another doctor made mistake..
He made me look beautiful and was so forgiving...
I had a chance to see him initially and chose another doctor...
He knew this and fixed my face, anyway...

Dr. Mark was a wonderful person who always made you feel special. His laugh and happy spirit always lit up the room. John and I will miss him greatly. We loved exchanging stories about my hometown, Brazil. He was such a talented and caring Dr. who gave all of himself. He had an immense passion for his work. No one likes to be at the Doctor's because you're not usually feeling well but I always felt like I was Ewing an old friend. I totally appreciated that He and Jeanine volunteered to staff the Medical Tent at my inaugural triathlon at Salt Creek Beach.
