Mark LAX Obituary
Peacefully, on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the age of 86. Devoted husband of Marilyn Pesner, and the late Shirley Nemiroff. Dear brother of Gordon Lax and brother-in-law of Lillian and the late Shea Goloff, Tanya and the late Sonny Nemiroff, Stanley Nemiroff, Gerry and Lita Nemiroff. Special uncle of Howie Nemiroff, Lisa Roitman and many other nieces and nephews. Mark will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by Marilyn's exceptional children Mitchell and Miriam, Malcolm and Shawnie, and Avrum Pesner, and their families. He will be dearly missed by his family and wonderful friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Cardiology Department at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Monday, February 1 at 12 noon. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his home. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Mark Lax Memorial Fund for Cardiac Research" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, 514-340-8251.
