Mark Lynch Family:
I am a Barber at "Dan's Barber Shop". Very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. Mark stopped in for beard trims about once a month. I had good conversations with Mark about guns and his competition shooting. We will miss him!

We are shocked & terribly sorry to learn today of Mark's passing. He was a really big part of my life in our early years in LeSueur & Mankato. We had great times together as we were growing up, harassing our parents and each other as our families picniced at Sibley Park in Mankato & at lakes nearby. We both joined the Navy about the same time & served on aircraft carriers based in Norfolk during the Vietnam era. Mark's mom, Mariam West, met Mark's dad, Joe, after the war. Joe was in the US Army in Europe--was shot & captured by the Germans. Mariam became secretary to the President of Green Giant, eventually retiring from Pillsbury, & lived in St. Peter for many years. Mark's grandmother, who cared for him as a youngster, came over from Norway when she was four, and I believe Joe's parents were from Ireland.
Mark has many other relatives in the Hollister Family who reside in several cities around the State.

As a former classmate of Mark and one who shared his passion for Swan Lake and waterfowling, I want to express my sincere condolensces at his unfortunate and untimely passing. While it is likely little or no consolation to his family and loved ones, he did pass away at a place he loved during his favorite season of the year. Mark will be missed by many. You have my sympathy.
