My deepest condolences go out to the parents and family. I did not know Mark personally but, no parent should ever have to endure the pain and suffering that you're feeling right now. My brother died at a very young age in Tahlequah, and it reminds me of my Mom's heartache. Again, I am deeply sorry for your loss.

My wife Joan Tincher Adrian Wilson and myself, Ron Wilson are keeping Mark's family members in our prayers. I met Mark this past summer at Bryan/Laura Hodge Lake during a shrimpboil gathering. Mark landed the helicopter with precision. Took caution/care in winding down the rotors & engine before turning off copter. I quizzed Mark about his helicopter as he checked out the rotors, engine, etc after shutdown. My observation showed me that Mark was very conscientious/professional about his flying! I wish I could have gotten to know Mark better. He seemed like a young man who had found his calling, flying! I don't know what befell Mark that morning, but I believe that he drew upon his pilot experience to try and land the helicopter safely. We will remember you landing & taking off from the lake.

James, my heart aches for you and Nick. I can’t begin to imagine the loss of a child. We raised those boys together for almost 13 years and we had many wonderful memories. They were so small when we met. Chelsea always loved and adored her brothers. Mark taught Chelsea many things such as riding a bicycle, riding a dirt bike, and even riding the four- wheeler. These memories remain carved and cherished in mine and Chelsea’s heart forever. I loved Mark dearly. My condolences go out to the entire Mahaney family. Take care of yourself and may God’s comfort and blessings be with You, Nick and the entire family.
