Mr. Steven H. Kelly

Steven Howard Kelly passed away peacefully after a brief illness on August 28, 2012 at the age of 85 in Des Moines, Iowa. A private service will be held at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Steve is survived by his loving wife Anita, children (Mike) Michael (Colleen), Ann-Marie (Shawn), Steven (Ellie), Brian (June), John (Alison), brothers Alec, Nick, Ted, and Ron. Steven will be missed by his 13 grandchildren Mike, Sarah, Jake, Sean, Dan, Ryan, Mike, Liz, Joe, Jason, April, Brian, Noelle and great granddaughter Katie. He was also an important person in the lives of Anita's daughter Kay, grandchildren Jaime (Cory) and Zac (Mitzi), and great-grandchildren Caden, Quinton, and Piper. Predeceased by his first wife Norma, sister Phylis, and granddaughters Ellen and Lesley Ann. A long time business owner and resident of Des Moines, Steve enjoyed his many trips to Las Vegas with Anita and making his annual trip to Morrison Lake in Canada. He will be missed by the many friends he made throughout his life both in Canada and the U.S.
