Mark you were a great cousin and a wonderful friend. I loved to see you in your uniform when you came home from the Navy to see your family. As the years went by we really did not get together, but I always thought the world of you and your sister Susan and brother Bruce. Peace be with you Mark, and when you get to heaven give my family and the Marinoff group, Mirsky, and Shrobes. Love you my cousin, and I will miss you.

I remember the day that the McClennings moved in next door.
I was 6. I told my mother I met a boy named Mart Clenny.
Mark, Bruce and I went through all the Rites of Passage of growing up in the 40s and 50s.
If Bob taught Mark how to plant a garden, Bruce and I had to have one also.
I was pretty good at backyard baseball, thanks to the McClennings.
There was a special place where we hid the pack of cigarettes we pilfered from one parent or the other. All our parents smoked then. The McClennings smoked Old Gold, and my parents smoked Camels until my mother switched to Kent.
Bruce and I had many Lucy and Ethel adventures, while Mark was growing up.
Susan soon joined the group and my sister Judy found a lifelong friend.
Mark soon found older friends, and we didn't really reconnect until I used to set him up with my girlfriends. He was driving a snazzy black Corvair and didn't mind driving to wherever. It was tough, however, to convince a mother named Schwartz that he really did have a Bar Mitzvah!
Mark, you will be missed. Your brother and sister, as well as the additional generations, and cousins, most of whom I met, will share memories and anecdotes. Our childhood in those magic Mid-Century years still lives on in the people we became.
Send my love to your parents.
