Stan and Celina,
Mark has been such a positive light in my life since the day I met him. He always had this way about him to always bring you happiness when you were in the slumps. Mark has motivated me to be the best person I could possibly be, he never gave up on anything, and when I felt like I needed to he never failed to bring positivity to my mind and ease the bad. Mark has a beautiful soul and he is with us everyday. We may not physically see him, but his presence is there, he is our guardian angel always and forever.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mark as someone who made me feel instantly comfortable my first day in class. He just had this amazing ability to reach out and make others feel at ease, with a huge smile to match his huge heart, that never failed to change the room he was in. He was a lesson to all in simple acts of kindnessalways the first to offer up his seat in an overfilled class, or make a joke to ease our test anxiety. He will be deeply missed and remembered always for his joy and love for life.

Mark, it was a pleasure getting to know you through the occupational therapy program. You always presented a positive energy and could make everyone laugh. You had a smile on your face that was contagious. It is no surprise that you are beloved by all that come in contact with you. You will be missed ❤

Dear Brother,
The gift god gave to Mark Panus, prior to his recent passing, was the love of many individuals. He was able to experience college, create a family within our occupational therapy community/program, become an honors student, lead by example like no other, and most importantly, be the good person/friend that we all know he is. I like to believe he found happiness for the first time through occupational therapy and was able to form deep bonds with all students/faculty in the program. Mark was very special to many, I know that sounds clique, but in this instance I recognize how true that is. RIP brother, all of us will see you soon enough. Just watch over us with an eternity of happiness, laugher, and peace.

To the Panus family, I was Mark's third grade teacher at Mt. View School. I'll always remember Mark's smile and way he had of pleasing others .He would always talked about his mom's great lasagna( he even brought a piece in for me). He was so full of life and caring. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Celina, Stanley, Paul & entire Panus Family,
We were shocked and deeply saddened by the news of the passing of your beloved son/brother. Celina & Stanley, as parents ourselves, our hearts break for you. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We did not know Mark well, but looking through the photo gallery and reading the many remembrances left by others in this guest book, he seemed a truly amazing young man. It is evident that he touched many lives by his friendship and wonderful, generous nature. His genuinely caring heart and bright soul will undoubtedly shine on...in and around each of you. Take comfort knowing that your beautiful boy is now in the arms of our Lord. May you all know the deep love, peace and comfort of Christ in the days ahead.

Mark,
The reality of this still has not set in yet. You will surely be missed by many, and I'm not sure there will be another person like you in my life that I cross paths with again. You were always the type of person that others just gravitated to. You had such an infectious smile, laugh and charm. You had a love for other people and vigor for life that was evident to even those that just met you. You went out of your way to care for others and be a friend to those who needed it. You cared so much.
I am so happy I decided to go to the beach that day by myself because I got to rum into you randomly, and it led to us reconnecting after not having seen each other since we were teenagers at family BBQ's. Until we meet again. I'll see you in the kingdom!
