Mark Romboletti Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 19, 2025.
Mark Carl Romboletti of Sarasota, FL, age 56, died unexpectedly on September 17, 2025. Mr. Romboletti was born in New Haven, CT to Linda Ross Romboletti and the late Carl Romboletti of Greenfield, MA. He was brother to Christine Romboletti and uncle to Olivia Romboletti of Reston, VA. He is survived by his former wife, Kristina Lutinski of Sarasota, FL.

After graduating from Governor Dummer Academy in Byfield, MA he attended Tulane University in New Orleans graduating with a degree in Psychology. He then moved to London, England to pursue graduate studies and work for the Disney Corporation. Upon his return from Europe, he was a vice president with New England Picture in Manchester, NH where he worked for many years.

Mr. Romboletti enjoyed independent world travel and his beloved companions, Nola and Revo, who he raised since they were puppies. He was an avid golfer and devoted sports fan; but he cheered loudest for the New England Patriots. Additionally, he was a voracious reader with an insatiable curiosity and a wealth of knowledge that spanned countless subjects.

Mr. Romboletti formed many close friendships throughout his life, cherishing the connections he made with people from all walks of life. His generosity and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood Ranch, FL at the family's convenience. In accordance with Mr. Romboletti's wishes, cremation will take place. The family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to New Hampshire SPCA, PO Box 196 Stratham, NH 03885, https://nhspca.org/donate-today-2/

The unimageable has happened.

My daughter, Christine, and my son Mark have been my rocks, my joy.
Now I have lost you Mark and our wonderful and often very funny daily conversations with the sounds of Nola in the background wanting her share of attention...are over.
I will never forget going on our beautiful walks in various parks with your beloved dogs Nola and Revo. They will continue to be played with and spoiled by me, of course.
Mark was so proud of his accomplished niece, Olivia, and could not wait to see what her future holds.
There have been so many special memories over all these years that I will cherish and someday I will be able to look at all the pictures of your life.

My dear son I will love you forever and miss you always.
Your loving Mom

Linda, we know how much time you and Mark spent together and we hope all your wonderful memories bring you comfort during this heartbreaking time.
One of our favorite memories was when we all went to Islamorada for lunch along the bay. The weather was perfect, the conversation flowed easily, and we shared so many laughs as we sat by the water. Mark was such lovely company... he will be sadly missed by us all.
With love and sympathy
Roger and Jan

I have a great memory of attending MLS Cup 2002 with Mark to root for the New England Revolution in their first final. He drove down and picked me up from college to hit the match. Afterwards, the notoriously bad traffic out of Gillette gave us lots of time to knock the ball around in the parking lot and discuss the result. Even then, Mark still had a great touch for the ball!
