Mark Matthew Shifflett, 60, of Charlottesville passed away Friday, October 26, 2018.

He was born July 16, 1958 in Charlottesville, VA, son of the late Alvin Joseph Shifflett.

Mark is survived by three step-sons, Kenny Collier, Dewey Collier and Dwayne Collier; two step-daughters, Faye Shifflett and Mary Dollens; one brother; three half-brothers; two sisters; two half-sisters; his dog, “Biscuit”; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances J. Shifflett.

A graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date.

The family would like to thank the UVA Medical Center ICU staff for their support during this difficult time.

I will miss "Mr. Mark". He was the best neighbor, mechanic and friend. Rest in peace, Mark and be happily reunited with Frances.
