Mark Stephon Sias passed away Saturday August 4, 2018 in Charleston SC. He was born August 15, 1963 in Man, West Virginia. He was the beloved son of Eileen "Patti" Harvey Haines of Aiken, SC and the late Robert Sias of Logan, WV. Mark was a 1981 graduate of Man High School in Man, WV. He attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV and graduated with honors in 1997 from Queens University of Charlotte, NC, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Theta. He also served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1986. He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his mother Eileen "Patti" Haines and her husband Lee Haines of Aiken SC, his girlfriend Tracy Wilson of Charleston, SC, his beloved children Stephon "Alex" Alexander Sias of Portsmouth VA, Emily Grace Sias and Olivia Kate Sias of Concord NC. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sias and brother, Rodney Sias. A memorial service will be planned for friends and family at a later date in Aiken SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.
