Mark Everett Stanley, 71, died suddenly on Friday, January 5. Mark resided in Houston, TX, with his wife, Mei, and stepson, Max Bui. A private service for Mark will take place at a later date. Mark was born in Martinsburg, WV and held a BS from West Virginia University and an MBA from Pitt. He was predeceased by his parents, Everett Burton and Dorothy Boram Stanley, and his wives Krista Yvonne (Von) Orndof Stanley and Sandra Surace Stanley. He is survived by his wife Mei Niu, of Houston, and sons Adam,( Carolyn) of St. John's FL, and Drew,(Carrie), of McGaheysville, VA, stepson Max Bui of Houston, sister Leslie Plants of Weston, WV, brothers Bruce (Melissa) of Raleigh, NC and Jeff ( Pam) of Morgantown, WV. Mark was a loving, doting grandparent to Claire and Leo. He was an avid golfer and a vocal supporter of the WVU Mountaineers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He spent most of his professional life in the oil and gas services industry and lived abroad for many years. He is missed greatly by his family and friends.

I worked with Mark for many years, managing trade shows, and developing marketing materials for his company. He loved his grand babies and loved to talk about them. It was such a pleasure to work with him, and I am saddened to hear of his passing. R.I.P. Mark.
