Mark STRUDWICK Obituary
(Major General) CBE, KStJ (Linlithgow)
On September 26, 2021, after a short illness, Mark, aged 76 years, darling husband of Sue and formerly of the late Jan, adored father of Piers and wife Jane and Sara and husband Ian, much loved and admired stepfather of Jeremy and wife Katherine, Robin and wife Annette and Sacha and husband Fabrice, devoted and proud grandfather of Angus, Ollie, Iona, and Brodie and step-grandfather of eleven. Funeral service will be held at Canongate Kirk, Edinburgh, on Friday, October 22, at 12 noon, to which all are invited. Donations in Mark's memory in lieu of flowers to St John Scotland or ABF The Soldiers' Charity. Enquiries to Funeral Directors, Robert Bennie & Sons, Linlithgow, (01506) 84 2116.

We were deeply saddened to see in The Register in today's Times the death of Mark Strudwick.
We had hoped to renew a friendship dating from the early 1970's on one of Mark's trips to London. We had met and became friends with Mark's parents in Yugoslavia while on our honeymoon. WE met both Mark and Janet and Mark's parents in Kent several times.
Our deep sympathies to his family, colleagues and friends.
