I am so grateful that I took the opportunity to thank Jean for giving me the greatest gift in my life, my husband Matthew. She raised him to be the kind of man every mother would want her daughter to spend their life with. For he too has his mother's kind soul and gentle heart. I know that she is at peace looking down and smiling with pride at the wonderful sons that she raised.

Most people complain about their mother-in-laws, I loved and adored mine. She was a kind soul with a gentle heart. She was a strong woman as she endured a difficult life in many ways. She was a quiet person and a beautiful person inside and out I wish that I had the opportunity to spend more time with her.

Aunt Jean, though our times together were brief and infrequent I always sensed a strength and compassion that made me feel instantly comforted and connected.
Your sister misses you deeply but is very comforted with the memories of the bond you have rekindled over the last few years.
Rest well - for you have worked hard and your legacy lives on through your boys - you are deeply missed!
