Mary Ann Lanham, age 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on September 1, 2025. Born on February 20, 1957, in Louisville to the late Fred and Helen Kimpflein, Mary Ann lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

She worked for many years as a scheduling and payroll specialist for the nursing department at Parkway Medical Center, where her dedication and attention to detail made a lasting impact. Outside of work, Mary Ann found joy in life's simple pleasures-reading mystery novels, swimming, soaking up the sun, and swinging on swings. Above all, her greatest pride was her family, whom she loved fiercely.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents and three beloved brothers: Joseph Kimpflein, John Kimpflein, and Maurice Kimpflein.

She is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth Jones (Gary Cockrell) and Stephen Lanham; cherished grandchildren Alaina, Allison, Andrew, Preston, and Elijah; and treasured great-grandchildren Jaxson, Carter, and Amari. She also leaves behind her dear brothers, William Kimpflein (Betty) and David Kimpflein (Jill); many nieces and nephews; her "bonus daughter" Raygina Jones; and her beloved cat, Django.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Mary Ann's life will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 PM with a memorial service at 3:00 PM at Legacy Funeral Home – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, KY 40215.

Mary Ann's warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
