Just saw this sad news! The last time Mark and I spoke he told me his health was better, I’m so sad to hear this. I have fond memories of planning a special gift for my husband on our 20th wedding anniversary with you, Randi and Mark. We are about to celebrate our 40th and Mark’s Grand Canyon painting still hangs in our home in a place of prominence bringing joy each day. May God bless you with many happy memories.
Our condolences, Lisa and David Beaird

I have a beautiful painting by Mark. I loved the moment I saw it. I know he is enjoying glory with his savior. Carl.

Randi, Shay, and family,

What a joy to know Mark Weber. Such a humble servant of God. I am grateful that he was such a prayerful, supportive friend to Maurice for so many years. What a blessing that we have five of his oil paintings and three of his prints to view every day. We miss him and pray for you and the rest of your family as you are missing him.

Randi and family,

I'm sorry that I was not able to make it to Mark's service. Because of the holiday time it was impossible for me to get a flight into Kansas City. But I want you to know that you were definitely in my thoughts and prayers that day. I stopped many times that day and prayed for you and the children and grandchildren as you went through the ceremony to honor Mark.

Mark is one of the few friends I have had that I kept up with consistently for 45 years. He has been like a blood brother to me. I have so many fond memories of us living together in the House of Nine. I know you saw him mature and develop over the years of your marriage, but he has always had a wonderful spirit about him. When I first met him he was a brand new Christian. He told me that he was an atheist in college and had just become a Christian. He and I had great conversations almost daily about what he was reading from the Bible or about what God was teaching him. It was very rarely would we get together on the phone or in person that we did not pray for each other. I know that you and the children and grandchildren are going to miss him greatly. But also, we who have walked with him through the years will miss his gentle spirit, his love for the least and last, his wisdom that was always beyond his years, his steadfast love for people in his life: family, friends, neighbors, etc.

May God give you continued strength in the days to come because I know your rock has been moved. But we are all blessed to have had Mark in our lives, and God was very gracious to give us 26 extra years. I hope that at some future time you will have the opportunity to write Mark's story down since you knew him the best. His story is worth being passed to future generations where they know what a wonderful man he was.

Your friend,
Maurice Graham
