Marlene Pinck died peacefully on April 19, 2016. She leaves behind her children, Tina, David (Sugey), and Sean (Tania); her grandchildren, Brandon, Robin (Mathieu), Kala (Stéphane), Alicia, and Andrew; her great-granddaughter, Emma Marlene; her sister Joan and nieces, Debbie (Dan), Diane (Paul) and Donna (Tony); her grandnephews, Matthew, David, Travis; and grandnieces Claire and Sydney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archibald Walter Grant and Marion Tipping, her husband, George Pinck, and brother-in-law, Richard D'Arcy. Marlene had breast cancer and fought a long and hard battle with dignity and grace. She never complained and is an inspiration to others. Her doctors at the MUHC were incredible and they came to say good-bye. They admired her strength and determination. She was their longest patient and her case is used for medical students. We are grateful beyond words to everyone who helped her. Marlene enjoyed every day and had fun. Her love, spirit, and kindness will live on. Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 222, Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire on Monday, April 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. followed by a church service at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26 at Christ Church, 455 Church Road in Beaurepaire.
