Marshall E. Hall, Jr., 77 of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014.

Marshall was the founder and original owner of the Salem Donut Shop. Prior to opening his donut shop, he worked for Dunkin Donuts for 25 years.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carole E. Hall, five children, Dee Dee Bramblett and husband, Danny, of Roanoke, Marsha Gibson and husband, Thomas, of Columbus, OH, David Hall and wife, Renee, of Jacksonville, FL, Sharon Wiley and husband, Brian, of Roanoke, Dann Edward Hall and wife, Cindy, Dinnwiddie Co., VA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Oakey?s North Chapel with Pastor Don Woodward officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
