I think about you every day. Still so much I wanted to ask and show you. Memorial Day was tough, people don´t understand. Miss you.

Hard to believe it’s been half a year. This whole month has had a grip on me. I’ve never been without you, it’s just so weird to not have you physically present. I think about you every day. You’d be proud of how well we’re holding it together. After all, we know you’re at peace and that helps us get through the hard times. I feel so blessed to have had you as a father. Every part of it was a learning lesson and I can’t help but be grateful for the discernment it taught me. This is a random rant at 3:33. Come see me, old man. I miss you dearly.

I listen to my Mac playlist every time I get in the car. I hear the words differently, I remember sitting in the backseat listening to you sing and suddenly go quiet sometimes. On some of the songs, I understand. On others, I wonder what ran through your mind, troubled you, or reminded you of a better or worse time. I loved to pick your brain, I know you’d seen so much. Missing you a lot today, old man.
