Martha Bowman Obituary
Beth was the first woman crane operator for Sheffield Steel during the war effort and she holds the State High School Tennis Doubles Champion title, 1940. Beth and R.G. started Bowman Tile Supply in Spring Branch, 1949.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, R.G. Bowman. Beth was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who is survived by her children, Wayne Bowman, Linda Dooley and husband Craig, Ernestene Jenkins, Donald Bowman and wife Kay. Grandchildren, Lindsay McKay, Tyler Bowman, Ryan Dooley, Erin Thompson, Megan Hegland, Shannon Steinacker, Rhett Jenkins, Meredith Hamm, Elizabeth Bowman, Olivia Bowman, Reed Bowman, Derek Bowman and eight wonderful great-grandchildren. Beth is also survived by her sister, Barbara Breen and sister-in-law, Pansy Hays.
Visitation with the family was held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9th in the Waltrip Chapel. Interment followed in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.

Beth was like my second mother and course RG was like my second father and now they are together again. I still remember being invited over to their home as a young kid and Wayne and I would kick the football around. Time for lunch, Beth always made the best lunches ever. May you rest in Peace.
