I've just heard the news of Glenda's passing. I remember so fondly the days when we were younger and busy with our babies in Norcross, Georgia. Such good times with Glenda, Wanda, Peg, Judy and all. Navigating life separated from loved ones isn't easy but God is so good and always comforts. Saying a prayer for your family.

I remember meeting Glenda when she attended the Eliza Lucas Pinckney chapter meeting & we began working on her application papers. Soon we decided that Ashley needed to also become a member. I met them both to sign their application papers at their James Island school. DAR will miss her & so will the chapter.

I am so sorry to learn of this. Miss Glenda was always the smiling face at James Island Christian School where both of my children attended and graduated from (2007 and 2009). Her patience with the children (and parents) was endless and I know she will be missed by many.

The Lambert family and the Abell family lived side by side and we all felt like a real family. Glenda and the 4 Lambert girls had the times of our lives. I will deeply miss you Glenda and I'll always love you more. You rest in peace now your journey is finally complete. Thank God for memories because we sure have a lot of them stored in our minds. Thank God we were neighbors and had the pleasure of sharing so many good times together. God bless you Bill and Ashley and the rest of the family now. I pray for continued strength for you all as I share in your loss.L

To the best friend a girl could ever have. Glenda you were very special to me in more ways than I can possibly count. I will miss our talks and the laughter we shared about the Azalea bushes at your Mom's house by the steps. That is one memory I'll take to my grave. What a blessed friend indeed. I will always love you and I will miss you even more. Prayers uplifted for the family during your time of loss. I, too, share in your loss. We were all like sisters rather than friends. May you Rest in Peace now Glenda. Your journey is now complete.
