Martin J. Cron

August 25, 2005 Martin J. Cron, 88, of Fayetteville, died Thursday at home. He was born August 21, 1917, in Joliet, IL. He earned his Ph.D. at Ohio State in 1951 and worked as a research chemist for Bristol-Myers for 32 years. Survivors: his beloved wife of 53 years, Lola Cretekos Cron; a daughter, Pat Cron Goldstein; two sons, Michael A. Cron and Eric J. Cron; two grandsons, Aaron and Ben Goldstein; and a great-granddaughter. Memorial Services: Private. There is no visitation.
