My family moved to LP in 1957, i was a young girl, at that time. I believe Mrs. Marty's deli came along in the 60's. Marty was always hard working and a very nice man! For years i would see him working when i went in for bagels or lunch or whatever. Truly sorry for his loss and condolences to his family, friends and our community.

Marty and I worked side by side on countless community projects for Broomall Rotary and Marple Business and Professional Association. I was always impressed by the depth of his compassion and his endless generosity. Most of all I will miss stopping by for a tuna sandwich and a large helping of Marty's friendship. No matter how busy he was he always made time to make me feel welcome.

Dear Family
We were so saddened to hear of Marty´s passing. A bright light is gone but I believe his spirit will always be with us. My husband and I started going to Mrs Marty´s about 40 yrs ago and got to know Marty well. We never left without a joke or some story which I could never repeat. He had a marvelous memory and just made us feel like family. He had to be a great boss because his staff were so loyal and just like a family.
Marty will be missed dearly and we are grateful for getting to know him.
God bless
Denis and Betty
