NORWALK — Martin M. Heavey, 72, of Norwalk passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born October 6, 1943 in Queens, NY the son of Michael and Rose (Casa) Heavey.
Martin is survived by his wife, Astrid (Erlandson), whom he married November 20, 1964 at St. Mary's Church in Woodside, NY. A daughter, Kristina (Joe) Commarato of Bellevue; Two grandchildren, Gina and Joseph Commarato; a brother, Michael (Sheila) Heavey of Bayside, NY; a sister, Catherine (Joe) Raitano of Seaford, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Martin A. Heavey and brother, John Heavey.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St. in Bellevue.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception School Endowment Fund or Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue, OH 44811.
