McGuane, Martin J. age 69, suddenly. Native of Kinturk, Connolly Co. Clare, Ireland. Loving husband of 44 years to Bridget "Breege" (nee Leneghan), beloved father of Susan (Dan) Kowalczyk, Mary Pat (Brian) Eggers, Deirdre (Bryan) Murray, Sheila (Dan) Horn, Gerard (Kelli) McGuane, proud grandfather of Clare Kowalczyk, Shayn and Tyler Eggers, Austin and Conor Murray, Aileen and Emmett Horn and Gavin McGuane, cherished brother of Mary (Pat) Moriarty, John (Grace), Petie (Noreen), Brendan (Vera), Sr. Theresa of the Mercy Order, dear brother-in-law of May (Hugh) O'Neill, the late Rosaleen (the late Michael) Walsh, PJ (Bridie) Leneghan, Tony (Jean) Leneghan, Michael (Mary Ellen) Leneghan, Anne (Tom) Cullinan, fond uncle to many nieces and nephews, cherished and loyal friend to many. Retired Peoples Gas employee of 32 years. Member of the Irish American Heritage Center, Shamrock American Club and the Clare Association. Visitation Sunday, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge. Funeral Monday, 8:45 a.m., to St. Monica Church for 9:30 a.m. mass. Entombment Maryhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Irish American Heritage Center would be appreciated. For info 847-685-1002.
