Marvin Hamilton, 76, of Round Hill, VA, passed away on May 3, 2023 with Patty and Kevin by his side. Born in Baltimore, MD on September 15, 1946, Marvin was a caring and loving family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Hamilton, son Kevin Hamilton and his wife Sharon, grandchildren Katherine and Nate, sister Leslie Bednarski, sister Stephanie Ford and her husband Andrew, nephew Jeffrey Bednarski, and niece Jennifer Wasley and their wonderful families. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Howard Garth Hamilton and Laura Heaps Hamilton, and brother Howard Bruce Hamilton.

Marvin attended Baltimore Polytechnic High School and later went on to Loyola for higher education. He served in the Maryland National Guard for 6 years.

Marvin started his career at Federal Tin and Paper Products, continued on at Sheet Metal Coating and Litho, He also started and ran Baltimore Tin Plate, a Chicago based company. He eventually started Tinstar Company and Coastar Company in Baltimore, MD. He was passionate about golfing and was an active member of golf clubs in Baltimore and South Carolina. He and his wife Patty also enjoyed traveling extensively all over the US in their RV.

A remembrance gathering is being planned in memory of Marvin. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.

Marvin was a long time friend. We first met in little league baseball. We shared lots of fun times throughout years. With his death, a part of life went with him.
