Marvin and John went to Junior High and High School together at Maple Ridge. He was the best man at our wedding and we've maintained a friendship over the years in spite of the fact that both families moved around. We'll miss him a great deal.

Marvin, you were a very special person, and you will be missed. I remember how proud you were of the work you had accomplished on your farm, when you were showing George and I around.

I remember Marvin fondly as someone always willing to share a joke. We had a running gag when he used to call and ask for the "woman of the house" because he knew it drove me crazy. At every family dinner he and I would "fight" each other for all the olives! He was a character and one that will live in my memory always as part of a family group that had the best fun and the best laughs, the best Rumoli games, and the best crib games. Rest easy Marv...
