Claire Jamison Obituary
March 23, 1946 - June 26, 2023
Claire passed away peacefully in the Henderson Nevada Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Dick/Spike and siblings Barbara Vary and Pete Fisher. She was born and raised in Anaheim. Claire was a proud graduate of Anaheim High School class of '65 as is her whole family - classes of '33, '39, '60 and '71. At AHS she was a drill team member and cheerleader. She enjoyed college life at Fullerton Jr. College and San Jose State. Claire worked at Disneyland for 10 years. Her "Claim to Fame" is being one of the children running over the bridge and into Sleeping Beauty's Castle the day Disneyland opened. Moving to Carson City, Nevada she bought her first horse and then several more, practicing horse jumping and dressage competition. She was the slot manager for the Golden Spike Casino.
The Jamison's moved to Henderson where she worked for Merck and the Las Vegas Convention Authority - truly loved this job! Claire was an active member in P.E.O. Chapter R and served as the Nevada State President. The memorial service was held at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. Her ashes will be scattered off Newport Beach.
