AMARO, Mary G.
Age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 15, 2008. Mary was the beloved wife of John E. Amaro, who remained dedicated and by her side for over 60 years. She was the cherished mother of John F. Amaro, the late Joseph G. Amaro, and Rachel R. Orozco. She was preceded in death by her mother, her father, one grandson, three brothers, and three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. As she was one of the most dedicated, actively involved, and loving of grandmothers, so shall she be dearly missed by her three granddaughters, four grandsons, and six great-grandchildren. She will also be mourned by her surviving four brothers and two sisters, her siblings-in-law, countless nieces and nephews and all who were close to those who loved her. She will be forever remembered and sorely missed by all who knew her commitment to family and her love for life. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, January 23, 2008, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the GEORGE L. KLUMPP CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, Riverside Boulevard and 2nd Avenue. Friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Sacramento. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Avenue.
