Mary (Babba Ambroch) as we knew her, was a grand lady. She always made us feel welcome at her home and we were welcomed as "an extension" of the Ambrock family in the late "70's. We were neighbors of her late son Allen Ambrock, and his wife, Joan and their children Karri and Korrie who grew up with our two girls, Cindy and Leanne. When Mary came to visit, the kids would run down the laneway screaming "Babba, Babba"! Mary would always have a big smile and she would laugh and give me a big hug when I followed the kids' example. She greeted me as her "grandson". It was quite an honour to have known her. She lived a long and happy life and always had a smile for us. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Our deepest condolences go out to the Ambrock family at this time of sorrow. Mary will rest in peace.
