Mary Anderson was born at Delhi, MN on July 5, 1948, to Ervin and Helga (Helgeson Hustad) Hunteman. Throughout her childhood, Mary moved to Watertown, SD and Raymond, MN, with her parents, younger brother and two younger sisters. In 1963, they moved again and settled in Breckenridge, MN, where Mary completed high school. In 1970, Mary moved to Fergus Falls, MN, where she worked for D.B. Rosenblatt.

On April 13, 1974, married Ronald S. Anderson, in Breckenridge, MN. Mary was a valued employee at Primewood and Imation. Above all, Mary thoroughly enjoyed her time at North Dakota State College of Science where she worked as a janitor until her retirement in 2013.

Mary loved riding her bike, knitting, crotchet, and quilting blankets. She was gifted at playing piano. Whenever she could, she loved spending time with her family at their lake cabin. Close to her heart were her cockatiel birds that she raised throughout the years.

Mary leaves behind her daughter, Anne (Joe) Pazdernik; grandsons, Jamie Varholdt and Lucas Pazdernik; granddaughter, Hayley Pazdernik; great-granddaughter, Emma Varholdt; one sister, Lynette Block; four step-daughters; one step-son; and her three cockatiel birds.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Harry Hunteman, and Rita Paasch; half siblings, Edward Hustad, Evelyn Kruse, Luverne Hustad, Harold Hustad, Harvey Hunteman, and Robert Hunteman; and her long-time life partner, Duane Guastad.
