Mary Ann graduated from Cooley High School and attended Michigan State University. She was a secretary at The University of Detroit and an Administrative Assistant at Terry Barr Sales in Southfield.

She was a volunteer for The Christ Child Society and The Michigan Ballet Theater. She studied piano from an early age and it became a lifelong passion. She loved the performing arts and attended many dance, musical theater and orchestra concerts.

Mary Ann had the gift of gab and held court around her kitchen table and on the phone making everyone laugh. A lot. Her family and friends cared and comforted her as she slowly slipped away under the shadow of Alzheimers. She will be sorely missed.
