Mary Ann Elizabeth Tobin
Mary Ann Elizabeth (Onorato) Tobin, age 79, passed away on April 13, 2018 at Manatee Hospital, in Bradenton, Florida, after a brief illness. Mary Ann was born May 10, 1938, in New Milford, CT, the daughter of Frank Onorato and Margaret (Martin) Onorato.
Mary Ann graduated from New Milford High School in 1956, then worked at The Southern New England Telephone Company after high school. Then married Kenneth F. Tobin in 1959, they were married for 51 years.
She spent 9 ½ years working for Burndy Corporation then worked at Kimberly Clark for five years as a diaper inspector before retiring.
Mary Ann was an avid homemaker, she enjoyed crafts, reading, gardening and caring for her dogs.
She is survived by her three children, daughter Dina (Robert) Frederick of Bradenton, FL; son, Wayne Tobin of Bantam, CT; daughter Kimberly (Michael) Colp of New Milford, CT; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A private burial service will take place at the convenience of the family.
