Mary Barry Obituary
On Wednesday September 10, 2008 beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. Barry Sr., our mom died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on the same day as her loving husband 15 years ago. We are comforted to know that they will be together again. Loving mother of Kimberly Kopicko (Tim), Kenneth L. Barry Jr. (Lisa), Kristy Golebiewski (Mark) and Kara Bertucci (Dominic), grandmother of Lauren, Ashley, Timmy, Alyssa, Brando, Ciara, Aden, Nicholas, Colin, Blake and Luca; sister of Bernadette Robey, William, Jerry & David Hammill and the late George Hammill and Betty Lou Pistella; daughter in law of Alice Chater; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Friends received at McCABE BROS. INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside on Sat. & Sun. 2-4 & 7-9pm where funeral will commence on Monday at 8:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, Bloomfield at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to University of Pgh. Cancer Institute, UPMC Cancer Pavillion, Suite 1-B, 5150 Centre Ave., Pgh PA 15232.

My mother was the most amazing person. She was a wonderful mother, gandmother and friend. She has dealt with so much since my fathers death and now I can be comforted that they are together again. I will love you forever and miss you EVERY day. You will not be forgotten. Unitl we meet again.

What I remember fondest about your Mom is when she was my Girl Scout Leader and became pregnant with the twins. Our troop was so excited! I can still remember the baby shower and all! Then came Kristy and Kara -- too beautiful girls. We couldn't wait to see them. Your Mom was a wonderful person, always welcoming us in your home when we were younger. We had a lot of good times. Now she is in heaven with some of those other wonderful Moms too. Keep the fond memories alive and never stop talking about her. She is one terrific lady!

To the Hamill & Barry Families: Kim & Kenny I am sure you will remember me growing up in Bloomfield with all the wonderful neighbors and friends. Your mom & Aunt Betty Lou were 2 of my favorite people when I grew up on Edmond St. In fact, our families grew up together mine & your grandpaprents and all of us. Looking back now I treasure all the wonderful times we had. I know that it is sad when are parents are gone but no more suffering and they are getting things ready for all of us to be together again one day.

We feel very lucky to have met Joy. She was a wonderful, loving and warm person. Joy was one of those unique people that after a first meeting she made you feel like you knew her forever.
