I remember Mary when she and Jim were first married. I would drive her to her substitute teaching jobs. I remember when she was pregnant with Jim Jr. and wearing Jim's jeans and making fruit salad in the kitchen. Jim was like my big brother through all my growing up, we did a lot together. I'm sorry to hear of Mary's passing, but want you to "Rejoice" because she has graduated to that perfect place that we all long to be in. You will see her again someday and that reunion will be blessed.

I met Mary at Bible Study at Chapel Hill. We were in Bible Studies together for a few years, once it was just the 2 of us! I loved the way she loved the Word & Jesus & was such an example of His love to me & to everyone around her. I also could stop in on Thursdays to the swim shop (even with the dog) & have a little chat now & then. Heaven is more joyful with her there, yet we are much sadder until we see her once again. My heartfelt prayer for the family & dear friends is to know that God grieves with us & may you know the comfort only He can give.
