Wonderful Mary and I met in Cardiff By the Sea at Georges Seafood restaurant. She was fabulous friend who I loved for 51 years!
She was a marvelous wit and writer. I am forever saddened that this great mind was afflicted with Alzheimer´s.
My love goes out to John and their two sons. With love from Janet Leutel

I'm so sorry to hear about Mary's passing. I spent many happy days at her home in Stow playing with her son Cam. She was always a wonderful hostess. I remember being impressed even as a child by her selfless acts supporting other and the community!

My sympathy to Mary´s family. I shared time at many Parent Support Group meetings at the local schools with Mary. She was always ready and willing to help in many ways. What wonderful work she did in Stow and beyond.

I am so sad to learn of Mary's passing! (THANK you to Janice for tracking me down!). She was Bill's only "local" family member and we relished the connection. Your family was a role model for ours. You raised two kind, caring and thoughtful sons and we were a few years behind you, trying to do the same. Your home was the first outing after our son Milo was born! and I have many warm memories of our families getting together when my sons were young. I am sorry that we haven't done a better job at staying in touch. (probably Mary was the one who made sure we stayed connected)
It is devastating to learn about her Alzheimer's diagnosis! I so admired her knowledge, wit and wisdom.

Mr. Kerr, sons and family, you don´t know me, but I know Mary. She is a part of our Wounded Warrior mom´s group, we just found out that Mary was dealing with Alzheimer´s. I´m so sad to hear about her passing. I had been reaching out to her with texting the last few years and received texts that I could not read. I understand now why and am so sorry for that. Please know that if there is anything we can do to help, we will do my best. Hoping you and sons are doing ok. Praying for comfort for you all. Prayers and hugs from Wisconsin.

It was such a pleasure experiencing life with Mary during her time at our facility! She was such a warm-hearted, loveable, lady who brought excitement to us everyday! Thank you for entrusting your loved one to us in her final moments. She will be missed very dearly. Condolences go to the family during their difficult time of mourning.

I met Mary only once, with John at a lovely lunch we shared along the Monocacy River in downtown Frederick, Maryland. She seemed so gracious; I was very surprised to learn shortly after that they already suspected early-onset Alzheimer's. What a terrible loss and my deepest condolences.

Our date -- early 1980? -- in Covent Garden, London, when she thought she was just another invitee in the usual throng of participants in Henry John Kerr Productions -- the entertainment activities that I would regularly organize. Surprise for Mary! And a positive suprise also for her that the movie we then went to -- "Richard Pryor Live in Concert" -- sent this staid Ulsterman into fits of unseemly laughter... Loving husband of 41 years -- John Kerr
