WEST SALEM - Patricia Ann (Hase) Fogel, 67, of West Salem, passed away due to complications from Alzheimer's on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, at the Lakeview Health Center in West Salem with her family at her side.
The former Patricia Ann Hase was born Nov. 15, 1939, in Chippewa Falls to Jack and Lois (King) Hase. She graduated from Elk Mound High School in 1957. On Sept. 2, 1961, Patricia married A.J. Fogel at St. John's Lutheran Church in Eagleton.
She worked many years as a health care provider and was director of the LaCrosse County Department of Aging, until her retirement.
Patricia had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She also enjoyed dancing, Bingo and reading, but her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by: her son, Jerry "Bear" (Rhonda) Fogel of West Salem; her daughter, Catherine (Mike) Thompson of West Salem; grandchildren, Jessica Stenslien of Bangor, Josh Fogel, Contessa Fogel and Macaylee Thompson all of West Salem; great-grandsons, Isaiah Fogel of West Salem and Jacob Drew of Bangor; four brothers and two sisters; Jack (Lynne) Hase of Waukesha, Wilbur (Sandi) Hase of Waukesha, Ronald (Janet) Hase of Waukesha, Michael (Dawn) Hase of Elk Mound, Stella Hase of Mukwonago, Rosemary (Roland) Palmer of Chippewa Falls; sister-in-law, Kim Hase of Elk Mound; brother-in-law, Jerry Kothlow of Menomonie; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; a brother, Thomas Hase; and a sister, Annette Kothlow.
There will be a memorial service held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 359 N. Leonard in West Salem with Pastor David Bersagel officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
There will also be a memorial service held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Elk Mound with Arnold King officiating. A private burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Spring Brook, Dunn Co.
