This is for my Nana,

She was a great person to not only her family but to the people of Lawrenceville. Everyone who knew her loved her. Her family loved her more than life itself. I thought she was the greatest person in the whole wide world. She always made me smile and I did my best to do the same. I love her so much and I wish she was still here. But she is in my heart now and watching over me from heaven. I miss her!

Love you Nana

Dear Nana,

I am very happy to have been born with you as my grandmother. I'll always remember playing nurses and house, sleeping over with Casey, Jamie and Ashley when they would come home. We all LOVED working at the store too!! Playing scrabble and cheating, you eating my green beans at dinner, and you dancing with Bob at my graduation party!! I hope you know that you will be missed greatly. I love you Nana, watch over me!

My deepest sympathy to all. As you all know, Mary was an amazing woman and will be sorely missed by the many many people whose lives she touched. Even after not seeing her sometimes for a couple of years at a time, I never walked into her shop without her immediately knowing who I was and asking about my family. God blessed you all with a strong, tremendously supportive woman who has left her legacy of love to all of you. I hope that comforts you during this difficult time.

Love to all,

Cindy, T & Family

It was an honor and a pleasure to have Mary Davis as my mom, my mentor and my friend. She was a woman of great strength and overcame adversity to accomplish all of her goals. I will never forget her smile , her wit and her humor. If I can be half the woman she was then I will be able to consider my life a success

I will never forget the image of Nan coming up the small hill to Joe Natoli Field, waving to me as I was in the batter's box as a kid.

Nan, keep doing it your way, listen to the Pirates, and I will never forget the way you danced at my wedding.

I will always remember you....as long as I am alive, and I cannot wait to see you again.

I will always love you.

Mary Davis was a good influence in my life. Since I started craft classes at the store many years ago. To the open houses at the store and at her home. To the family weddings I attented, Mary made me feel a part of her family. I will miss her very much. My condolences to the Davis Family.

I am very sad to hear that Mrs. Davis has died. You know the special place she has in my heart; I always think of her as my second Mom. I had the pleasure of visiting with her and Mr. Davis last September and I was amazed at how vivacious her spirit continued to be even after significant setbacks. Susan and I have so many warm memories of her and the lively relationship that she and Mr. Davis shared throughout the years. We looked forward to surprising her by dropping in at the store or at home on our trips back home. I consider it a blessing and honor to have had Mrs. Davis as an important part of my life. I will miss her very much as will everyone who knew her and appreciated the many contributions she made to the community.

Mr. Davis, Bill, Carol, Beth, Susan, Ginny, Meg and families, Susan and I will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Greg and Susan

To the Davis Family,

I'm sure you don't remember me but I was a friend of Beth's way back there in high school. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she was a wonderful person. I especially remember when I was getting married, 23 years ago, how she made sure everything was just right that we ordered from her shop on Bulter Street. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
