Maryellen was two years behind me, I was the oldest of the six. Her and I had sibling rivalry that pretentious at times, but she would get in any one face if they dared. When we were teenagers my aunts would ask Maryellen and I to dance the new dances that were out back then. We were a great team.
When we were visiting in Kentucky in 1960 , I was 14 she was twelve we went to tv show like American bandstand. We were asked to do a spot light dance for the show , they thought we danced just like the American bandstand kids. Ill always remember that.
I always gave her credit for her taking on so many foster kids and then adopting them. She worked very at this, right up to the end.
God bless sis,

Mr Deegan, Cheryl,Darrin, Ricky and all the kids.

I wasn't to send my most deepest, sincerest condolences to you all on the loss of this beautiful woman! It didn't matter if you were family or not Mrs Deegan ALWAYS made me feel as if I were one of the kids, and it really warmed my heart that she treated my daughter like a grandchild when we had come to visit Cheryl when she was home a few years ago...Mrs Deegan had a doll house that my daughter (who was 3 1/2 at the time) took a shine too, and Mrs Deegan she had the best time showing her everything about the house. She ALWAYS made you welcome and comfortable and I will miss her dearly!!! My heart's, thoughts, love and prayers are with you all ALWAYS!!
Love,
Stacey, Mike & Maddy Rae Gagliardi

Not sure if you remember me, but I remember you. I was the secretary at Child Guidance where you brought a lot of your foster kids. I'm not much for words at a time like this, but I do know Heaven has just gotten a great lady.
