Published by The Times Herald from Feb. 20 to Feb. 21, 2018.
Mary Jane Dewey (nee Stehman) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Feb. 15, 2018 at age 83. Born in Chestnut Hill on August 2, 1934 to the late John L. Stehman and Esther (nee Copenhaven) Stehman. She is preceded in death by 6 siblings: Landis, Richard, Francis, Donald, Stanley and Vernon. Mary enjoyed spending time at the beach in Ocean City New Jersey at the Oakridge Condominium Campground but most of all her greatest joy was being with her family and grandchildren whom she cherished. Most recently, Mary enjoyed volunteering at the Einstein Montgomery Medical Center as well as swimming classes at the Plymouth Community Center. She was also an active member of Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church. I worked with Mary at the Housing Authority.
She was a very nice and pleasant person to work with and she was always ready and willing to help out.

My thoughts and prayers for the family in this very difficult time. I am sorry for the loss of your mother.

Prayers and Blessings to your family - our forever best friends Don and Mairi. Please give our love to your Dad Don and your brothers. Growing up in the summers on your street there are so many memories of your Mom and Dad. Your mother gleamed from ear to ear when you boys would come into the room. There was a reason why she had 4 boys...perfect Mom for you 4! She loved to laugh and listen to your stories, which I may add you were never for a lost of words. Your entire family treated your Mother with the most respect and love...awesome to think about. God Bless you all as you go through the next few days. We are sorry we are unable to attend, but you know we are praying and thinking about you all. Lots of hugs to you all.

Hi Donnie & Family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of Mary.
The Lord knows
The pain you feel, the grief you carry
The tears you cry
The memories you cherish
The comfort you need
The strength you require
Thinking of you today
and praying the tender ministry
of the Lord will comfort you.
Love & Prayers, Bob & Gladys Frame
