Phenix City , AL- Mary Turner Harp Efurd, 65, of Phenix City passed away on January 30, 2013.
Funeral services for Mrs. Efurd will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus with Reverend Gene Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm, until 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mary Turner Harp Efurd was born March 1, 1947 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Albert and Doris Harp. Mrs. Efurd was retired from St. Francis Hospital after 33 years of service.

Survivors include her husband of 49 ½ years, Dean Efurd, a daughter, Diane Grantham and her husband David of Chesterfield, VA, one son, Terry Efurd and his wife Leanne of Woodstock, GA, two brothers, Johnny Harp and his wife Carolyn, of Ellerslie, GA, William "Buddy" Harp and his wife Renee of Columbus, GA, and one sister, Patsy McGregor and her husband Lee of Augusta, GA, four grandchildren, James Grantham(Hope), Jennifer Bunch(Bradley), David Jaynes(Amy), and Christopher Jaynes, and three great-grandchildren, Marisa and Katelyn Bunch and Avery Jaynes, and several nieces and nephews.
