Mary Frey

Mary Catherine Reilly Frey Passed away peacefully at Tiffany Court Assisted Living Facility in Walnut Creek, Ca on Thursday, January 26, 2012, in her 95th year. Loving mother of Michael (Lorraine) and Robert (Kristin); proud grandmother of Jenifer, Christopher, Andrew, Jessica and Sunita; proud great grandmother of James, Jordan and Kairee; proud aunt of Sharon, John, Kevin, Dan, Joan, Sue, Denise, Jeri, Patty, Cathy, and Bill; wife of the late Ralph Frey; sister of the late Joseph, John, Cecilia and Sarah (Sister Mary of the Cross); loving daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Reilly. Mary was born on January 1, 1918. After her husband Ralph passed suddenly in 1950, Mary devoted her life to raising her two sons. She was a long time employee as a sales person for Macy's in San Francisco. Mary was an avid traveler and an active member and travel coordinator in her AARP chapter. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Tiffany Court and Odyssey Hospice for their loving care. Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service on Thursday, February 2nd at 7pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 3rd at 10am at St. Phillip the Apostle Church, 725 Diamond St, San Francisco. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. A celebration of Mary's life will follow the interment services at Val's Restaurant, 2468 Junipero Serra Blvd, Daly City. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Monastery of the Angels and mailed to 57 Vallecito Lane, Walnut Creek, Ca 94596.
