We got to know each other in Rome and I will never forget those two days spent together, you were my prince and I was yours. Then life together... nobody is perfect and we did some mistakes but you taught me so much that I still now often look for your voice, your presence. I will no longer be able to hug you, kiss you but there is one thing that I know, I will never forget you and I thank God for you were part of my life. I still remember that while talking at dinner you told me that one day when you would be gone you would have liked I WAS HERE as the song that represents you, so here it is my Sweetheart, I dedicate it to you and I will always remember you in my heart and memories. Please never stop meeting me in my dreams, and as we used to tell each other every morning when we just woke up and at night just before sleeping 143, 143 more, 143 most FOR EVER.

J.P. It has been exactly a year if I am not mistaken since you left us to go and be with GOD and if I know you the way I did I just know that you have redecorated HEAVEN in the very same manner as you did when it came to your very own homes. There will never be another you. You were PRICELESS and IRREPLACEABLE. I think of you often when I am performing a good deed or whenever I am helping feed the homeless. I will never forget that one holiday where you gave me a special gift that you told me to share with the less fortunate. You see that is the J.P. OTTINO III that I will always remember and that is one of the memories of you that I will treasure forever and ever!!!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND HOLIDAYS TO YOU MY DEAR FRIEND.........................

For those of you who had the incredible opportunity of knowing this very gifted and talented and generous and loving human being then you can indeed count yourself as one of the most "Fortunate" people in this world. I was also fortunate enough to be one of J.P."s employees for the past 10 years as his AUTO DETAILER at his home in Las Olas and in Key Largo Florida. J.P. Ottino III was by far one of the sweetest and kindest individuals I had ever known and he definitely mentored me and helped me out of a "Jam" here and there. He once told me that if you can count your "True Friends" of your life on one of your hands then you are truly a very "Rich" man indeed!!! He went on to tell me that "I" was one of his 5 fingers. I will never forget those words which he revealed to me that very day. He will forever remain in my heart for all eternity. J.P. Ottino III my friend YOU ARE GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN...........We all LOVE you and miss you too!!!!!!!!

I was one of the lucky people on this planet to actually know this "Beautiful and Sensitive" human being who went out of his way to make sure that others had what they needed in order for them to have comfortable lives. J.P. Ottino III was the closest to "Mother Teresa" that I have ever been. It was indeed an "HONOR" to have been in his life and to also have been a part of it as well too!!!! GOD definitely "Broke the mold" when he created "J.P' Ottino III!!! Yesiree!!!! J.P. I will always treasure our time and friendship that we shared close to my heart to the day that I leave this earth. You are gone but not forgotten my friend............

JP... How do I find the words to tell you how much you will be missed? Your kind and generous soul was such a blessing to all who knew you. You touched so many people and were always so eager to help anyone when they were down. You inspired Mikayla to be the best she can be and her favorite words to me are "Like Uncle JP says...don't get in the pit". She misses you my friend and so do I. It was an honor to have worked with you, to laugh with you and spend time with you in your wonderful home. I love you Japes. xoxo

JP John Paul Ottino III

"If you are lucky enough to live by the sea, you're lucky enough"
I held my hand there on your sign and cried. I can't believe you are gone...
It's not just your beautiful house here in the Keys that brought us all together, but your constant love, care, excitement and joy for all of us and everything around you that makes this beyond difficult.
I was at such a loss of words and thoughts and only Ronnie could put it in perfect words. "The only way I can describe JP is that he was a walking, breathing Angel."
Now your house sits silent, I actually miss the sound of Ronnie's gas blowers right now.
You have touched all of our hearts and souls. We will always cherish every smile, every fun plan, each and everything you did to make us feel special.
From now on when I look out from my house I will pretend you are dancing in a Vineyard in Tuscany and we could not make it...
Or you were having another spectacular firework show...
We were lucky enough to live by the sea, next to you John Paul and we will treasure our time with you forever. Rest in peace.

We love you,

Mary K and George

Not, How Did He Die, But How Did He Live?

Not how did he die, but how did he live? Not what did he gain, but what did he give? These are the units to measure the worth Of a man as a man, regardless of birth. Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed? But had he befriended those really in need? Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer, To bring back a smile, to banish a tear? Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say, But how many were sorry when he passed away.
JP, you will be truly missed, rest in peace.

JP had a great love story with life, his family, friends, and his personal staff that was like family to him, vendors, and all that was touched by his life. He celebrated a life well lived; which all of our hearts will be filled with the wonderful/cherished memories of the joyful times he spent with all, especially around the Holidays. JP will always live in our hearts and prayers and become that special guardian angel to watch over so many. My personal note in remembering JP is that he loved to watch the children enjoy every Holiday from Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, and always wanted to know that the children had enjoyed every moment from Santa to the Easter Bunny to the Fireworks. Seeing the joy in the eyes of the children made him happy.
JP will be truly missed by all.
