Mary Hargis Obituary
30, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 2, 2014 surrounded by the love of her family.
Mary was born in Louisville and attended the University of Louisville. She was a gifted artist who cared deeply about her family and friends. A natural comic, Mary brought many smiles to those around her.
She is survived by her parents, John and Deborah Hargis; her brother, Robert Hargis; three sisters, Julie Montgomery, Amy Hargis, and Katie Litanga; her grandmother, Mary Corum; two nieces, Gracie Hargis, and Olivia Montgomery; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood, followed by burial in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday.

I'm sending my love, thoughts and prayers to the Hargis family. I have so many wonderful memories of Mary and I feel so lucky that I was able to spend time with her recently on a visit to Louisville. I will always remember her laugh and her sense of humor. She was a beautiful woman that will be missed by so many people. My condolences, I love you all!
