Mary will never be forgotten in our eyes! She was so intelligent... it was a privilege to know her..... Also, her sense of humor was amazing and she nurtured so many young lives in her daycare. Kindness and common sense always prevailed. One of my favorite stories - Our son had fallen and was bleeding.... she rushed to his aid and calmed him down simply by reassuring his that "thank goodness your blood is red!If it was a different color we would have to worry" ..... :-)) In my heart I know she is in a good place and free from all the difficulties of becoming older. Goodness must be rewarded in some sphere of the universe. RIP Mary. You are missed.

Mary, called me, when I lost my daughter Addison. She died in November as well. We became friends. Six months later, I was 36 and diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a dream to bring home another child through the 6 negative IVF cycles, Mary was there. In order to achieve my goals, I had gotten accepted to an Advance infertility clinic in California. It was a huge risk for our family. Somehow, I took that risk. It helped to know you and Mary were there. Not too many knew the exact nature of those trips. I tend to not trust too many. It was a lot of extreme pressure. I only had 3 cycles. The first one I came home with nothing. The second one brought us our daughter Joy. After all the losses both of you have been through, I hope I can be the role model both you Gordan and Mary were and are. My heart is touched by the love both of you had for one another. I am sending my love and prayers.

I am sadden to hear the news of Mary's passing. Ironically, although I have not seen Mary or Gordon in years, I was thinking about her last week and wondered how she was. Such wonderful people with huge hearts. Please accept my deepest condolences Gordon.

Mary will be missed! She housed my ex-wife Cindy (Herrick) and my daughter Joy in the late 1990's and i have fond memories of her and her family from the Bridgewater UU church.

My husband Ed and I just heard of Mary's death this morning and we are so sad for all the Hatfield family.

Mary was an amazing force in the lives of our children and was a most professional, loving and caring day care provider for our two kids. Not only did she care for our kids, she often provided wise counsel for positive parenting.

Gordon, please know that we are so sorry for your loss. You and Mary were a special couple. We remember our wonderful times at Christos with you both. You and all your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Ed and Joan Casabian
