Mrs. Higginbottom was my Gr.6 teacher back in the late 80's at Stella Maris. Everytime someone asked who my favorite teacher was growing up, her name was always the first to come to mind. She was very patient and compassionate with me that year in my emotionally trouble youth at that time and I've never forgotten that. I'm saddened to hear of her passing and pray for strength for the family at this time. I can remember it like yesterday her laugh when I mistakenly called her Mom instead of Mrs one day. My deepest condolences on this great lost.

Mrs. Higginbottom was my Gr. 6 teacher at Stella Maris in '93-94. She was an excellent teacher, and I was very saddened to learn she has passed away.
It is because of strong, Catholic role models like her, that I am now the Coordinator of Youth Ministry at my parish. May God give her family strength, and the knowledge that she is now at peace.

God saw you were getting tired, When a cure was not to be. He clasped his arms around you, And whispered come with me. You didn't deserve what you went through, And so he gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, Because he only takes the best. You will always be remembered in my heart each and every day Colleen. You were a very special woman and I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to know. May the Higginbottom family find comfort in each other during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless WRCC REGISTRATION
