Memories of Mary Jo: We've shared many a Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinner with Mary Jo through the years. We tried to make sure she didn't spend holidays alone. It was always with the understanding that if she got a better offer from someone else, she was free to take it. She was a good sport about putting up with our 3 kids as they were growing up, and she entertained us with stories like her reading the Wizard of Oz book series as a girl, and answered prayer like the cats in Northern Kentucky that were an answer to prayer for a lady that had a rat problem. It was hard to say goodbye to her the last time I went over to her apartment, because I knew very likely it was the last time I would see her. She took it in stride. We will remember our happy times with her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that losing a loved one is not easy, but our faith in God's promises can help us get through difficult times like this. I hope you will find comfort in God's promise at John 11:24-25. Knowing that there is a future for those we have lost in death can be very reassuring! -
