Mary Kuhns Obituary
Mary Kuhns
Age 90, of Canton, passed away Sunday morning in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Vandergrift, Pa., to the late Anthony and Stephanie (Stanczak) Golembeski. Mary was a 1937 graduate of McKinley High School and worked as a hairdresser for Davidson's Beauty Salon for many years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kuhns; brother; Art Golembeski; sisters and brother-in-laws, Helen and Bud Syler, Nellie and Bill Bast, Harold 'Bucky' Holiday, Bernice Golembeski; granddaughter, Theresa Wagner. Mary is survived by sons, Ron 'Porky' (Mary) Wagner of Salem, Ohio, Steve (Karen) Kuhns of Arlington, Texas and Scott Kuhns of the residence; grandchildren, Stephanie Jedra, Brandon and Stephanie Kuhns; sisters, Gay Harmon and Barbara Holiday, both of North Canton; sister-in-law, Mary Golembeski of Denver, Colo; many nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to thank Patti and Christine, Mary's favorite caring and special caregivers, Senior Independence Staff, St. Luke Lutheran Home for the aging, all doctors, nurses and aides whom gave Mary the best of care.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 12 Noon in St. Anthony All Saints Parish with Fr. Thomas G. Bishop officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday (TONIGHT) from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Spiker-Foster- Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. You may sign our guest book at www.shriverfuneralhomes.com

Scott,
Thanks for all your loving care during Mom's illness. You are a very special person and made Mom's last days special for her. She loved her home and was able to stay there thru trying times because of you. She would have been very proud of the services in her honor. Thanks again.

My dad just told me of your loss. Even though it has been years since we saw Aunt Mary or any of you, your family has been on my mind all these years. Wondering how you have all been. Even though it is hard losing your mom, know that she is now with your dad, as it said in the paper Together Again. May Our Lord keep you and watch over you in the days ahead. Ron, Steve, and Scott. Debbie and I are so very sorry for your loss. Aunt Mary was so awesome in many ways with funny family stories and I always looked forward to the holiday meals at your house. She always let me know that there was beer in the fridge! Love and prayers.

I have such fond memories of Aunt Mary. She was such a sweet lady and so funny.
