In Loving Memory of Mary Louise Duhart

Mary Louise Duhart, 80, of San Pablo, California, passed away peacefully at home on June 11, 2025.

Mary was born on June 30, 1944, in Richmond, California, the daughter of Balbino and Frances (Berruezo) Alvarez. She was raised in Richmond and graduated from Richmond High School. On November 16, 1965, she married the love of her life, Arnaud Duhart. The couple later made their home in San Pablo.

Mary was a woman of quiet strength and deep faith. A devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, her spirituality was a guiding light throughout her life and a source of the grace and positivity that defined her. She found great joy in simple pleasures-reading, sharing stories, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arnaud (2015), her parents, and her brother-in-law Gary Coffelt.

Mary is survived by her sister Leonore Cofelt; her brother Joseph (Doris) Alvarez of Poway, California; and many loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cousins Emilie Rodger; Ed Berruezo; Celeste (Chris) Dwyer, and special cousin Marlene Cordova and Juanita (Dan) Sullivan, along with a circle of caring and devoted friends.

The family would like to thank Zita, Leo and Velba for their excellent care at Southwood Senior Living.

Mary's warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pinole, California, on Monday, August 18th and 11:00 am.
