Kevin, Jane, and Moira---Joe and I were so surprised to read about Mary's passing in Sunday's paper. We are both so sorry for your loss. Mary was quite the spitfire! I have fond memories of her the couple of times she walked the Race for the Cure in Portland with Jane and me. I loved her tenacity. All the best to you at this difficult time. Joe and Daria DeLillo

After seeing and reading the obituary. I thought I should enter some thing that someone in this family may be interested in. If any of you are interested or have information on the Young family history.
I am the grandaughter of Edward H. Young & Rose E. Young from Natick. Edward had several brothers, including Walter & Andrew. Their mothers name was Hannah (Burke). I slightly remember hearing the Cuniff & or Luby name as a child,so when I read her name it stuck with me.
Feel free to contact me .

I was so sorry to read of Mary's passing. Mary and my mom, Stephane Heilig, became very good friends while both were living at HollyField in Lake Oswego. Mom became ill with cancer a couple of years ago and passed away in October.
It is always difficult to lose a loved one and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in the loss of your wonderful mother and grandmother.

To Mary's family - I was privileged to meet Mary through GenTog, and loved her feisty nature. The description of her in her obituary made me smile. You caught her personality and nature so well in your words. She will be missed in this world. Mary Phillips.

We so enjoyed having Mary visit us at Gentog. The description of her as fun, feisty, intelligent, witty, very social, kind but so very, very stubborn is right on. And what a proud former Marine!! She kept everyone on their toes. We all miss her very much and send love to Nancy, Kevin and the rest of her beloved family. God bless.

Kevin & Family,
I was saddened to learn of Mary's death and know how much she will be missed by many. We worked together at Harborside School in Chula Vista till she moved to Lake Oswego and then when we moved north in 2001 we were able to resume our friendship more actively. I know she has not been well for several years and we fell out of touch and for that I am sorry. A great lady that I was privileged to know for 20 plus years.
