Forever remembered by her family and friends, Mary Glasco Mason, 68, of Garland, TX, went to be with her Lord on May 28, 2018. She was born in Dallas, TX on December 7, 1949 to Noble Lee Glasco and Doris Willidean Johnson. Mary graduated from Greenville High School and received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. She was married to Michael Mason, the love of her life, on October 2, 2004.

Mary had a 32-year career as a CPA for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts where she specialized in oil and gas taxes and revenue accounting. She was an active member of the Dallas Quilt Guild and the First United Methodist Church Richardson, where she served as a choir member, Ark House volunteer and Sunday School teacher, and had a passion for cats, quilting, bright colors (especially turquoise), faith, family, friends and her soulmate Michael.

She is survived by her husband Michael Mason, her children John Mason, Jeff Mabeck (Katy), Erin Colby (Paul), and Robert Taylor; her grandchildren Ames and Harper Mabeck, and Ker'rin Colby; and her much- loved kitties Faith, Hope and Ali.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to First United Methodist Church Richardson, New Beginnings Cat Rescue, Operation Kindness, or The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 11 a.m. on June 7, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church Richardson; Mary requested that people wear bright colors in her honor. Interment will be at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 6, 2018 at the Sparkman Funeral Home, Richardson, TX.
